How to add a new staff member Log into Workplace and go to 'Admin' Go to 'People' Select 'Add people' You can add a single person or upload a spreadsheet for multiple people. Please Note: If there is a requirement NOT to send an invitation to the new staff member, you will need to use the spread sheet as it provides an option not to send an invitation straight away. The singular 'Add person' function does not provide this option. Please Note: Assigning a person to group will automatically assign that person to the corresponding Group in Workplace (see 'How to Manage Groups' for more information) To add a single staff memberfollow these steps:Go to 'Add one person' Access method = Email Address Fill out the 'Name', 'Email address' and 'Start date Once these details are entered Select - 'send invite by email' Select 'Basic Invite' and then 'Continue' Select 'Send invitation' To add multiple people follow these steps:Select 'Add people' and then 'Import a CSV or XLSX Download the spreadsheet template and fill out the fields as required. Please Note: Not all the fields require data for the sheet to upload successfully. Once the spread sheet is ready to be uploaded, select the option 'Import file' Select 'English (US)' - there is no other option for English - and select 'Set language' The application will give an 'incomplete' error if a row has missing data. This can be ignored. If you get an 'invalid' notification, further action will be required. Once the account is created, find the account and update the following fields. This will assign the person to the right groups in Workplace and ensure the Org chart is up to date.
